| Patricia
and Eric live and work in Krakow, Poland. They first came to
Krakow, Poland in 1992 through a two-year government sponsored
program to assist in restructuring the country after communism
was overthrown. They fell in love with the country and wanted
to make it their permanent home.
Since
they were both artists and loved Christmas ornaments, they
built a design studio in 1994 to produce their original museum-quality
highly collectible ornaments.
Their
limited editions range from 500-2,000 pieces. Every ornament
is mouth-blown, hand-silvered and hand-painted, as they were
over 100 years ago. Both Patricia and Eric are intimately
involved in every step of producing their ornaments: from
hand-carving gypsum forms and painting prototypes to custom
mixing lacquers and inspecting finished work. The pair is
known for creating exciting, wholly original ornaments of
exquisite detail and beauty. The quality, the look and the
feel of their ornaments matter greatly to them and to their
young artisans.
Once
an edition run has been fully completed, it is permanently
retired. This includes all color variations.
